....today i feel free and after a while it feels good, i think i can get used to it..:)

Was having a discussion with a colleague and a good friend over a break on metrics. This is a new mantra at work..Everything you do at the end of the day has to translate into a number. If you cannot, then the initiative is out of the window. We were taking about of so many such initiatives which have been discontinued because it did not have an Immediate result. While talking this and that we landed up at relationships and marriage. She being married for 8 years now said its no different.

You get into a relationship with some expectations. When one is met there is always another. Meeting these expectation becomes metrics. It could be simple little things.

I thought about it and yes she is right, its all about Give and Take. Its all about balance. Maybe some marriages fail because its always one partner giving and the other taking and the roles are not interchanged. Maybe !

What do you think is a metrics for a relationship to survive?
